Once Human RaidZone Mental Pollution Guide: Mentality, Resistance & Gear

📌 Executive Summary & Key Takeaways

Learn how Mental Pollution works in Once Human RaidZone, how Mentality drains, and how to prepare with Mental Resistance, gear, food, and safe recovery habits.

RaidZone Mental Pollution: What Changed in Version 3.0.2

Version 3.0.2 adds Mental Pollution to RaidZone. Some regions become Mental Pollution Zones with two pollution levels. Higher-level zones apply stronger pressure, so prepare before moving deeper.

Mentality replaces Sanity

Inside a pollution zone, Mentality continuously decreases. When it is depleted, you also lose HP. Mentality gradually recovers after leaving the zone. You can also recover by sleeping at camp, improving pollution resistance, or using mental-recovery dishes.

Mental Resistance

All RaidZone gear now has a Mental Resistance stat. If your total equipped resistance is below a zone’s minimum Mental Pollution value, Mentality starts draining. The bigger the gap, the faster the drain.

Recommended preparation

  • Check total Mental Resistance before entering a higher-level zone.
  • Carry mental-recovery food and plan a route back to camp.
  • Consider the new survival gear: Anti-pollution Mask, Deep Isolation Set, Gas-tight Helmet, and Mental Shielding Suit. These improve resistance but trade away some defense.
  • Use farming and breeding: RaidZone now includes special food formulas, and rare or Deviated plants can provide important ingredients.

Extra RaidZone changes worth knowing

The update also adds the Telescope for long-range scouting and Gardening Gloves, which make plant gathering yield Deviated plants. ZapCam, Mini Wonder, and Pyro Dino received balance changes, so revisit any RaidZone Deviation setup that used them.
